Extended Communion

The Board of Deacons are re-establishing the Extended Communion ministry at GPC. This very important ministry is responsible for serving communion to our homebound members, as well as to any member who, for health reasons, may be unable to attend regular worship services.

The serving of extended communion is a simple yet profound ministry. With a small gift of your time, you can become an ambassador of God's grace and love to some of the wonderful members of our congregation. And you'll find in the process that they are a blessing to you as well.

Volunteers are needed to be a part of this ministry. It is open to all future, current and former elders and deacons. The goal is for each officer to serve extended communion four to six times a year.
