Ash Wednesday

You are invited to join us on Ash Wednesday (February 18) for a worship service with the imposition of ashes at 7:00 PM in our sanctuary.

The imposition of ashes at this service is a sign of our mortality. "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return." This is not a morbid statement of despair and meaninglessness. It is an invitation to walk the only possible path to the joy of Easter. The giver of our mortal lives upon this earth has made a way for the goodness and beauty of our lives to continue after death. Come and worship as we begin the journey of Lent together.
